2017 RIS News LeaderBoard Recognizes UTC RETAIL as a Top Retail Software Provider

Rochester, NY, December 11, 2017:  UTC RETAIL, a leading provider of Point-Of-Sale solutions to the specialty retail marketplace, has once again been recognized as a top 10 software provider in multiple categories in the 2017 RIS News Software LeaderBoard survey.  In this year’s survey, UTC RETAIL is ranked in the top 10 in Top Specialty Vendors.  Additional recognition comes with rankings in the top 10 for Customer Satisfaction in the categories of Broad Suite Vendor, Top Specialty Vendor, and Top Vendor for Mid-Size Retailers.  Top 10 rankings in both Quality of Service and Quality of Support for Mid-Size retailers recognize UTC RETAIL’s products and support infrastructure as some of the best in the specialty retail marketplace.  For the 5th straight year, UTC RETAIL was ranked in the top 10 for Return on Investment, reflecting the exceptional value that retailers realize from using their products and services.

Now in its seventeenth year, the annual RIS News Software LeaderBoard survey is conducted by Litchfield Research, an independent research firm. This year’s survey included input from 629 responses. The signature feature of the LeaderBoard is its utilization of customer satisfaction scores for vendor rankings. RIS News feels this aspect of the survey makes it unique amongst other vendor reports compiled by industry analyst firms. This well-respected study is often referenced by retail executives in the planning and evaluation of their next technology investment.
